PROJECTS
LIEUTENANT'S LAB
Invited to join Letter of Marque Theater Company's training ensemble in 2016, Marie has trained weekly with this incredible group. Each week, the Lieutenants push creative boundaries through improvisation, soundpainting (live composing theatre), and devising original works. This company is led by cofounders Nolan Kennedy and Scarlet Rivera. LoM's mission is to spread ensemble culture through inclusive, responsive, and accessible theater.
Each year, LoM hosts two playwrights for their 6-week long Ensemble Playwright Lab. This is a program where the playwright works with the ensemble to create, develop, or reimagine a piece of work which will be presented to the public at the end of the residency. Marie has been lucky enough to work with Ashley Lauren Rogers, Matthew Cole Kelley, Kate Douglas, Justin Cimino, and Cherry Lou Sy to help bring their work to life.

BLESSED UNREST
Marie was thrilled to be accepted into Blessed Unrest's Training Ensemble in the summer of 2017. Long inspired by their work, training with this skilled and diverse group has pushed Marie as a performer and continues to help her develop new skills. In the words of Blessed Unrest:
Blessed Unrest uses the safe structure of training, rehearsal and performance to create an environment where dangerous things can happen. We are an experimental physical theatre ensemble generating original work since 1999, including 27 full productions (15 world premieres). We have performed at New Ohio Theatre, PS122, Public Theater, Interart Theatre, NYU, Columbia, Manhattan School of Music, Emelin Theatre, and on international tours of Albania, Macedonia, and Kosovo.
ac'tiv•ist
ac’tiv•ist is a short-form narrative comedy web series that shines a comedic spotlight on college activism. In this first season, aspiring student organizer Samantha Rushbad grapples with the simultaneously inspiring, mind-numbingly banal, infuriatingly stupid, and downright absurd nature of campus activism as she starts a campaign to force her college to divest from Israel. As Sam steps ever-further into the labyrinthine world of activism, she must also deal with her mother, love interest, teachers, and friends who fail to understand her activist life.
ac’tiv•ist was the winner of Best Web Series at the Big MINI Media Festival in 2016.
